Fairy Tail

What girl doesn't long to live a fairy tail, to be chosen and swept away by her prince charming? What girl isn't hoping for her happily ever after?

The gospel sounds a lot like a fairy tail to me......

Once upon a time there was a Princess of the light,
a daughter of a King,
a bondservant of Christ
But that isn’t how her story started.
She was born into darkness.
Surrounded by a world broken;
full of disease, disaster and death.
A place absent of joy, security and hope.
She was bond by the wickedness of her heart,
the desires of her flesh,
and the pressure of the world.
The debt that she owed overcame her.
Her life lacked purpose and value and merit.
She was dead in her transgressions,
Bent toward disobedience, defiance and pain
Walking around aimlessly, she was headed for the grave.
But her maker didn’t create her in vain.
He didn’t spend his time intricately creating her with a detailed hand,
for her life to be void of meaning and worth.
She was in need of a savior, a rescuer, a redeemer.
The King of kings sent her knight-the Prince of Peace,
the perfect sacrifice, his sinless son to pay her price.
He was pierced for her rebellion, crushed for her sins.
He was beaten so that she could be whole and whipped so that she may be healed.
He died so that she may know life and know it to the full.
His dying breath paid her debt and that’s all it took,
for darkness to become light and Satan to end his rule.
When her eyes were opened and the captive was free,
she shed her old ways and was a new creation was she.
A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.
She was called out of darkness and into his light.
His marvelous, wonderful, extravagant light.
She became his delight, his honored Adopted.
Radiant, holy and pure in his sight.
A woman marked by favor and grace.
His righteousness shown upon her face.
Her honor, dignity and freedom restored.
A confident daughter in the name of the Lord.
Eternity was hers and forgiveness became her,
as she claimed her inherited happily ever after.

My prayer is that we would walk confidently as daughters of the King. I pray that we would stop waiting on our fairy tail and start living it. Let's claim His promises and live lives transformed.
He bowed low, so that we may be lifted high - for such a time as this.
