Greetings from bed my friends!

I am three days out of surgery, heavily medicated and sporting a beautifully bulky and extremely heavy white cast. My foot surgery is FINALLY over PTL! And as far as I can tell from the X-Ray it was very successful! In my right foot, I now have a tiny piece of someone else’s bone, a tiny plate, a screw and an ARCH. Can you believe it? After 20 years of flat feet, a two-hour surgery was able to give my little foot an arch. Medical technology is cuhrazy!

The surgery is over but my recovery is just beginning. I only three days into my two weeks of bed rest and I’m already a little antsy. Praise the Lord for sweet friends that come to visit, medication that makes you sleepy and a sweet momma and sister that attend to my every want and need. I owe them big time!

More to come soon, but my eyes are getting heavy and my foot is starting to throb… time for some more medicine. Thank you for the endless prayers and encouragement!
